Welcome! I'm Tamela Hughes, a Licensed Professional Counselor and the Courageous Empowerment Officer and Founder of Courage To Overcome. My passion lies in empowering individuals and fostering resilience across various life challenges.
With a specialized focus on maternal, sexual, and reproductive health, as well as supporting those navigating Women's cancers, I am dedicated to providing compassionate care tailored to your unique journey. I also work extensively with individuals in high-stress occupations, teens and young adults, and those impacted by suicide.
As a therapist and advocate, I am deeply committed to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health within the Black community. My mission is to be a catalyst for change, helping you find the courage to overcome life's hurdles and achieve lasting well-being.
